Charlotte Jones

Specializing in Editing & Colour Grading

From a young age, I was exposed to the fascinating world of creative arts, and it wasn’t long before I realized that I wanted to pursue a career in the film industry, specifically working in post-production. I will always enjoy editing. I often find myself using sound and music to help make decisions on how and when to cut clips together, so I appreciate when the footage I'm working with allows me to be creative in that way. Colour grading, however, although still fairly new to me, is something I think I would like to pursue. I love the way colour can have such a strong impact on how the audience perceives a scene. Colour can also help the audience to understand non-linear timelines. For example, Little Women (Greta Gerwig) uses warmer tones for the girls’ childhood scenes and colder for their adult lives.

As a creative individual, these are some of the aspects that attracted me to get involved in this industry. I’m always looking for new opportunities to develop my skillset. I believe the best way for me to build a career in this field is to be constantly learning new things and developing as a creative. It is important to me to make connections and meet people I can learn from. Get in touch for additional information about my past work.
