My Story

Originally from Hamilton, I moved to Wellington to study Creative Media Production at Massey University. Growing up I was always interested in drama and acting, which eventually lead to my interest in performance on screen as well as on stage. I started to appreciate the amount of effort that goes into creating films and soon became aware of just how many people are involved in the process. The idea of seeing my name in the credits of a film was so exciting that I decided to invest my time in media and film.

Throughout my studies, there was a wide variety of opportunities and roles for me to take a stab at. After trying out production roles such as 1st AD and Script Supervisor I decided post-production was where I thrived. I particularly enjoyed the colour grading process of making my graduate short-film, which was one of the very important roles I wouldn't have known existed if I hadn't studied film. I truly believe that the edit and colour can make or break a film.
